Internship Opportunities
IMPACT welcomes college students pursuing careers in the helping professions. We provide a solid foundation for learning and support our interns’ ability to gain valuable insight by working directly with clients and partners. Employers recognize the value of an IMPACT placement because our of unique position in the community as a resource navigator, problem solver and systems change leader. Join our proud tradition.
WHY IMPACT?
Our goal is to provide a placement that gives students an opportunity to:
- gain essential background knowledge of systems change
- enhance interpersonal skills and learn new skills
- build a network of contacts
- practice what they’ve learned in their studies
- benefit from a mentor or supervisor’s advice and experiences
General Requirements:
- Students must currently be pursuing an accredited two or four-year college degree
- Internship placement must align with the student’s studies
- Students must reside in the state of Wisconsin and within 50 miles of IMPACT’s office in West Allis
