IMPACT IS YOUR ACCESS POINT
IMPACT is a designated Access Point for all Milwaukee County residents age 18 years or older with an alcohol or drug abuse disorder who are seeking treatment. ARE YOU REQUIRED TO GET AN ALCOHOL & DRUG ASSESSMENT?
IMPACT is the largest provider of alcohol and drug screening, assessment and referral services in Wisconsin. We offer:
- Operating while intoxicated [OWI] assessments
- Other court-ordered assessments
- Professional licensing boards assessments
- Substance abuse professional [SAP] evaluations
What to Expect
As part of the Intoxicated Drug Program (IDP), IMPACT counselors conduct a conversational interview based on a series of questions regarding drinking, drug use, and related issues. Your counselor will discuss the results of the assessment with you and, based on the findings, recommend a course of action which may include education or treatment.
Schedule an Appointment
Appointments are scheduled Mondays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Tuesday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Fees vary based on the type of assessment needed. Call 414-443-6000 to schedule an appointment.
